Love this metal detector! Bought for a 6 yo and 3 yo. This has kept them occupied for hours on end. They love it! Good quality and very impressive. Excellent customer service from this seller as well! Would definitely recommend

This product isnt durable enough to be used for a child outdoor. My son used it 2 times and the second time taking it apart to put back in the bag it broke. I was disappointed in the product because he was excited to receive this on Christmas.

I bought this for our 5 year old grandson to go out with me metal detecting. It was easy to put together. The battery came with it, it also ce with a shovel and a rake all inside a nice bag with 2 pockets in the front. The case had both a carrying strap and handles and zips up easily. It is extremely light. I took it out first and found few things. My grandson went to the beach with me and found a Sterling silver earring about 2 inches deep. The man in the video on Amazon says it doesn't go as deep as an adult detector in order to keep their interest in digging, but I found a few targets about 6 inches down. This is well worth the money to buy for a junior just starting out.

First, my order never came with the handheld metal detector at all. Overall, It's pretty flimsy for kids . The piece that keeps it together constantly fails ... it's nice that it's waterproof. The bag and tools are handy but the accuracy is only so-so ... for this price it should be a bit better quality (or at least you should get everything that's advertised)

This is a good toy, but if your trying to locate items and use it as a teaching tool, I do not recommend this.
